??A Trump Trap

Trump possible trap for Sulaimani and partners. 

I am not a believer in the conspiracy theory but the similarities are compelling between Israeli tactics in goading the Arab Forces to a killing zone in 1967 and The Trump – Netanyahu possible plan to attract Sulaimani, Nasrallah and Iraqi pro Iran battalions to mass on Israel and face the full rage of American and Israeli air power.  

In the few months before the 1967 Arab –Israeli war. Israel massed its forces on the Syrian border supposedly in response to a small, Palestinian Fattah incursion into Israel.

Syria the darling of the Arab Nationalist Movement at the time cried wolf and in the fully charged nationalistic mode at the time, the cry was echoed from Yemen to Mauritania.

President Nasser being the guardian of the Arab National Movement could not resist the call. He closed the Straits of Tiran to Israeli shipping (an act which can be regarded as an act war) and ordered the Egyptian Army into Sinai.

Arab States propaganda went into full gear with each state claiming to be strong enough to defeat Israel single handed at the same time Zionist and western propaganda was playing poor little Israel .

Israel mounted a massive air assault on Arab Airfields destroying Egyptian and Syrian aircraft on the ground at the same time attacking the runways with previously purposely designed French bombs which ripped the runways and made them unusable.

The Egyptian Command gave the order to withdraw and Egyptian soldiers and armour were massacred in the open desert. Sinai, Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Golan Heights were all lost in six days.

Arab leaders accepted the cease fire because Israeli forces were too close to their seats of power.

 As an example, The Iraqi Army although uninvited rushed in and engaged the Israeli Army at Qunaitra 22 Km. off Damascus.

 While Iraqi Armour was battling the Israelis at Qunaitra and Syrian Special Forces were in fierce hand to hand combat at Gabal al Sheikh Mountain, Iraqi and Syrian Commanders drew a plan for a counter offensive to retake the Golan Heights. The Syrian Leader found the play too close to his seat for comfort and ordered the cease fire all the same.

Going forward to the present day if Sulaimani, Nasrallah and the Iraqi pro-Iranian battalions are persuaded to mass on Israel border Trump can unleash his B52 Bombers which can destroy these forces at no human cost to Israel or America.

Changing the thinking  from conspiracy to theology. It is a fact that some Christians in America (Trump may be included as a believer or beneficiary) believe that the rebuilding of the temple on the ruins of Al Aqsa will hasten the return of Jesus and this what has prompted Trump to declare Jerusalem as the capital of Israel to enable Netanyahu to destroy and rebuild.

Trump may not know that Sulaimani and his Partners are ardent believers in the return of AL Mahdi and would also love if the Imam can come and give a hand in this matter.

The masses of poor Muslims and Christians of the Middle East can only pray to God to postpone these happenings and let they people live.
